His father was second in command of the city guard, and during his youth, he was trained to follow in his father’s footsteps. In his early twenties a tragic attack on his city by a necromancer caused Mylos and a group of refugees to escape southward to the city of Blackcrest. Mylos is a private man, and seldom few people know the full story of what happened during that fateful night.

After years of working in the Blackcrest guard, Mylos witnessed a strange sight while on patrol in the boarder lands. A curious gnome teleported into a high point in the sky and fell into a nearby lake. Mylos leapt into action and helped the poor man to shore, and learned his name was Fonkin Fandango. Ever since then, Fonkin has been an everlasting presence in Mylos’ life, and for the last year or so they have tried making their living as freelance adventurers in Oakhurst, a village near Blackcrest.

Those who ask learn that his parents disapproved of using magic to enhance the toys that the Fandangos were known for, and Fonkin was never more than “adequate” in his parents eyes. The one time he did get praise from his parents was when he secretly used magic to help him make a toy train. “See you are doing just as well as your brothers!” they said, but when they found out he used magic they kicked him out of the house.

He traveled for a while and continued to combine his magic and engineering until he was able to enhance a planar travel spell that brought him to a completely different version of the planet Osrynn. it was here he met Mylos, who saved him from drowning, and ever since the Two have been working together as adventuring companions.

Trask and his Goons, as they are known in hushed tones by the competitive adventuring groups in the greater Blackcrest area are a group of reformed orcs from a faction of the Deadtusk clan; one of the deadliest clans in the region. Most adventuring groups (and citizens for that matter) regard the term “reformed” with some suspicion given their clan’s reputation, but ever since arriving in Oakhurst the group has been rather helpful, and quite proficient in dealing with various troubles the city has regarding Bandits, Goblins and assorted aggressive wildlife.

After their run in with Mylos and Fonkin in issue 1, Gerg has had to acquire a new arm, and in general the whole group has seemingly undergone a bit of a make over, sporting new gear in order to deal with threats both in and out of town.

Aziza

Age: 25           Height: 5′ 4″        Weight: 115lbs                                Eyes: Pink    Hair: Magenta      Alignment: Chaotic Good

Class: Bard                                   First Appearance: issue 2

Not much is known about Aziza’s past as she would rather discuss other people’s stories instead of her own. What she will tell a new acquaintance over a beer when pried amounts to the following:

She grew up in Aldborogh, the capital of Aellyn. Her family was poor and it was merely on merit of her great talent as a musician that she was able to get into the bardic schools at a young age. The devil blood in her ancestry gave her an advantage when learning the magics that bards wield with their force of charm and will.

Other than that she will only say that she recently left school after a few extra years of studying the adventuring profession from books of myth and lore. Her first job as an adventurer was that of a caravan guard, and that only ended with her and her charges being captured by goblins.
